4.5* Very traditional dishes, the best of the best. Friendly staff and great service Most of the dishes were excellent.
This is our second time visiting. Fortunately, the food was a lot better than our first visit on April 2024. This is a nice option for seafood in the bustling city center. Prices are reasonable and the while food does take a while, the food is fresh and the service is friendly. Among the tourist traps that can be found in all of the center, this is one of the eateries that locals frequent and tourists can find true value in great food and pricing. We enjoyed the grilled sea bass, fried cod and calamari.
Stoa Allios: Hooked on Athens' Finest Seafood It was our last evening in Athens, and we were in search of a great seafood spot without breaking the bank. Our tour guide suggested Stoa Allios, just a short walk from our hotel. The restaurant looked inviting with its bright facade, so we decided to give it a try. Inside, a friendly host greeted us and seated us by a window with a nice view. He quickly offered us drinks as we checked out the menu. We ended up ordering calamari, sea bass, prawns, and risotto to share, and everything came out in hearty portions that easily fed the four of us. The food was delicious—each dish was spot on. The calamari was tender, the sea bass was cooked just right, and the prawns were juicy and flavorful. The risotto was creamy and paired perfectly with the seafood. We enjoyed every bite so much that we cleaned our plates without hesitation. Our waiter was thrilled to see us enjoy the meal and surprised us with a complimentary dessert, which was a sweet ending to our night in Athens. It was such a nice touch that made our evening even more memorable. Stoa Allios not only impressed us with its great food but also with its friendly service and cozy atmosphere. I'm already looking forward to coming back here on my next trip to Athens.
What a gem !!! Amazing food went there almost every evening !!!! Amazing food and service !!!
You eat and you cry from how good it is. Best gastronomical experience in Athens. We’ve never had sardines so fresh. Mussels - excellent. Staff - charming people.
It is my second visit at this restaurant. First was on 06/24, second on 01/25. Food is marvelous, based on fish and greak kitchen. We had fried anchovies, seabass, red mullets, grield octopus and everything was wonderful. Definitely a place to come back. Prices are mostly reasonable and fair.
This a good recommended restaurant in the city center. The food is authentic (see pictures attached). The prices very democratic. The house wine both white and red is very acceptable at the price of 4 euro per 500ml :). The service is fast and nice. Try the grilled feta, the octopus and the grilled seabass. All fresh. And if you find a place on the terrace - take it.
48 euro for: Grilles seabass, grilled octopus, 500 ml of red wine, 500 ml of white wine ( very good), baked feta cheese, Greek salad, eggplant salad!!!!!!! It is a fantastically low price for the top quality fresh products !!! Go for it!!!
